Lingering
I don't know how you
dragged me here
I know that I don't belong...
Why did you think this would be fun?
Because, for me, it's certainly not.
While you are out
there,
Talking all you will...
I loiter in the shadows
Instead of chatting, I stay still.
You are so talkative
And fun to be around...
While I am quite the opposite
I won't make a sound.
Now you are asking
Why I am not having fun.
Well, what did you expect?
I am simply the one that everyone shuns.
I want to leave so
badly...
Yet you want me to stay right here.
Then you go off to chat with others
For I am a Shy One, I have everyone to fear.

Ok, might have to do with me a little bit. Not that much though. This is a modified version of my feelings at last school year's Valentine's Social... it's in 2nd person because I'm telling this like I'm saying this to a friend of mine. Yeah. Umm... dated October 8th, 2002.
