Let Go
I heard
what you said
When I had my head bowed
Even though my mind is miles away
My ears and sense remain
I'm
dancing on a thin, thin line
And I tripped, I fell, I hit my head
On one side of the line is joy
And the other is sorrow
And I landed there without him
If
the walls had ears they'd hear my sobs
If the floor could cry it would too
If the windows were gone then I could escape
If gravity died then I could fly
Fly to somewhere far away, with him
I want
to laugh, I want to smile
I want to jump, spread my wings, and never land
And if I could I'd never cry
If I could I'd never sigh
Please
let me leave
Don't make me stay
Let me go
Let me fly away
You
can't make me stay
Because you can't hold my spirit
My spirit can fly, it doesn't cry
Let go
