Inner Song
Even as my body trembles
My voice is strong as ever
Even as my legs collapse
I sing another note
I sing another song
Singing is my restoration
My peace, my fire, my life within
No matter what happens
They cannot take my song away
They can't take it away
Because even when
my mouth is shut
Even with my voice unheard
I can still hear my song inside
Where my voice can ring forever
Where my song is evermore
