Falling Star
I need to wish upon
the falling star.
How can I pick one wish?
Many thing press the edge of my mind
I don't know what to say today.
How often is it that
you see a falling star?
Especially here, where nothing is pitch dark?
Maybe twice in a lifetime, maybe much less
And now with these wishes, only one can be best....
I find the wish for
the moment,
Take a moment to phrase it.
But by the time it has escaped my mouth
There is no falling star.
