Chain-Link Destiny
Today I am
Surrounded by a fence
Fell down
Haven't gotten up since
Locked inside
My own head
Have worn my patience
Down to a thread
And from the inside
I look out
Far too tired to try to shout
So I'm starin' through my chain-link destiny
I know where you are but I don't know about me
I fell so far
That my will fell apart
Cryin' out silently
No time to restart
The metal glitters
In the cool of the rain
Reminding me I'm locked inside
Forever to remain
And from the trap
I peer
From various places but never quite here
So I'm starin' through my chain-link destiny

So fogged up it's too hard to see
