Catch me as
I fall
With you right next to me
Catch me as I wonder
Did you even see?
Catch me as
I wander
Far past the border hills
Catch me as I hurt
Conforming to your will
Where were you
last Friday?
Thought we'd meet at the shore
Oh no, I didn't go home
Just walked there even more
I thought about
the daisies
The missing respect, lost love
I thought about the fight
The shortness and the shove
Why'd you have
to fight me
When you knew I had my doubts?
Why didn't you answer?
When will I find out?
Catch me as
I fly
But cannot spread my wings
Catch me as I see
And my sould ceases to sing
Catch me as
I wander
Way beyond the sea
Catch me as I hurt
Pretending this is me
She seems to
have you
Under her spell
Why do you buy
What she'll only sell?
'Cause you will
find the bad
In your perfect deal
Can you see with my eyes?
What should I feel?
I feel like
you've betrayed me
And I'm lost in my hurt
But if you aren't so bad
Why do I get alert?

I whisper
Of this dreadful deed

Out to escape my past

way beyond

I'm taking that upward leap
No longer gonna sigh
