Broken

You know I'll return
You have me hooked
When will I learn?
Can't believe I overlooked

It's guilt, it's confusion
Wrapped up in one
Unending delusion
Missing my sun

I long for the light
At the end of the tunnel
But I know it's too late
Sliding down in the funnel

To be trapped in a bottle
Made of emotion
Never to topple
Confusing delusion

I shouldn't want this
But I do
Why didn't I listen?
No longer a clue

You're ruining my soul
Destroying my pride
It's all just a show
To see if I hide

And you've shaken me
One way at a time
And you've broken me
My tunnel has no light

I miss them
But I need you
Can't believe when
It's actually true

I long for the light
At the end of the tunnel
But I know it's too late
