Broken
I'm falling
Downwards I fly
Wind rushing through my hair
Arms outstretched
I am in bliss
But I won't be for long
There will be a landing
Can you catch me if I fall?
I'm screaming for
help
Scratching the door
Locked in my head
Where no one can hear me
I am tucked away
Neatly discarded
Calling your name
Can you hear me if I cry?
I'm lost for directions
Stumbling this way and that
Bumping into the barriers
Being put up around me
I am boxed in
Losing my control
Confusing direction
Can you find me if I'm lost?
I'm freezing
Bathing in this cold
Chilling me inside and out
Freezing my heart
I am cooling off
Never forgetting your lies
Beginning to not care
Can you warm me if I'm cold?
I'm tripping
So much in my way
Holding my arms up
But unable to break the fall
I am sitting here,
broken
Waiting to be fixed
Pieced together like a puzzle
But nobody's there
