Also, I've added the CSS codes used on the two new layouts to the CSS
section, as well as a link decoration (CSS used only for changing
the link styles) that I used on AH once.
Last night I wrote six new poems, too... they are 'Broken', 'Darling',
'The Girl', 'To You', 'Trapped', and 'Why'. They aren't my best work,

@ 8:54PM - I've been setting up my new computer (apparently that's
what was in the big box to me, lol) and haven't had the time to update.
But I've made a whole lot of new blinkies, which you can check out here.
I sent a neat gift to Ara, which you can see (but not take) on the gifts

They're both self-portraits (hehe) and there's one on the casual page

@ 4:33PM - Yes, I know, I haven't been updating lately or doing blinkies
lately. I will... but just not yet. I have to finish working
on AH before it closes for winter vacation, and finish an html obstacle
course for AH. I also have to finish Eloria's Christmas present (hehe
she'll love it, hopefully) and start the Christmas card doll for a rather
larger-than-last year group which includes some good friends (e-pal
and in-person) and a couple Hogwarts acquaintances. Whoo. So, yeah,

I am really sorry I haven't been able to update it very often. Until
the 20th (the beginning of my glory-filled 16-day break), I will be
increasingly busier with real life related things. I have choir practices
(did I tell ya'll that I got a solo in Once Upon a December? *grins*),
orchestra practices, ACT stuff (like the essay due the day before my
choir and cello concert at LMS... fun times), and other junk. In addition,
I have at least seven stories going that I want to continue (I compiled
the list with Ara last night... wait, this morning... haha...). At least
there's no time for boredom in there! :D
As for the real updates, er... I updated the survey
plugs. I also added a story that I wrote a few days ago to explain
a dream I had more than a year ago. It's called "Of a Dream"...

reviews (I finished Ella Enchanted yesterday, just before finding
out that the library had gotten a copy of The Lovely Bones in
- haha, I get to read it before Ara, muahaha... anyway) yet, but I hopefully
will shortly, I just have doubts for tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm shopping.

@ 10:43PM - Dang, I was updating yesterday and uploading stuff to ffn
and stuff, and the power went out. I went to bed around ten or eleven,
and woke up in the middle of the night when every freaking light in
the house flickered into life....
Anyway, I have the beginning of my As Told By Ginger story up on ffn,
as well as two short stories in the Matrix. Wheee. They're all slash
though, so if that's not your thing, never mind. Check them out here...

@ 6:33PM - I have a teeny bit of free time, so I decided AW was far
overdue for an update. :D That, and I have a million and one poems
(well, only seven... 'Cat', 'Greed', 'Hesitation', 'Inner Song', 'Just
Another Lie' (2), 'Soon', and 'Wouldn't Change a Thing') to put here,
lol.
I'm getting sick of this layout, but I've got no time to change it,
so... expect an autumn layout by... uh... Christmas vacation? Haha....
What I need to do is, in the summer, make layouts for all school year
so I can just change them when I get sick of them instead of doing them
one at a time. Sounds like something Eloria would do. In fact, I'd be
willing to bet she's already done stuff like that, lol....
On a different note, the MSC will be discontinued. (Wheee... big word...
oh man I am TOO hyper....) Boo hoo and such. I already have Just.A.Ramble,
which is a project that has no due date, lol. Ramble all you want. Well,
once Andrew finishes fixing up the multiple posters feature for dland
that he's been working on for months. :\ Until then, read the ramblings

@ 1:03PM - Yay... I got a stalker... go me.... Or at least I think I
have one, first he told me he looked at 'my pics' and then asked if
I had clips of my voice up here hahaha... I was considering it but no
more. Lol. Or maybe just little recordings that are sped up to disguise
my voice... yeah....
On the other hand, I took some pictures of my stuffed animals so I could
shovel them away into the attic (I have more than a hundred of them
from when I was 4-8 years old... sheesh...) and plan on putting some
here and naming off all of the stuffed animals, haha....

has started, and probably the only updates to be seen will be little

@ 10:56AM - Ok, ok, I've been busy, alright? The September edition of
MSC, although about half done, may be delayed into September a bit.
Something I do have time to do, even with school, is make blinkies...
so you'll be seeing a lot of those here in the near future, lol. I need
to update Hogwarts this weekend, so I'll be giving myself some self-time
by working here. Going to avoid doing blinkies other than customs in
the weekends too, lol... too addictive.
So, what else have I been up to? Literally, absolutely nothing. School
is eating away eight to ten hours a day (even though I enjoy almost
every last minute) and I haven't really felt up to blogging or updating
this or AH... feeling so lazy. Going to use this weekend to majorly
catch up.
I am not one of the people you want to cross with the phrase "imatation
is the highest form of flattery," and I have noticed that an awful
lot of people are direct-linking my images, and only my blinkies. Gah!
Cut it out, peeps! That's stealing! Also, I've seen a few of my blinkies
on sites like blinkie collectives and Xangas with no link back! Come
on people, these animations are all done by hand in MS Paint! Give me
credit and don't steal my work!
I am in desperate need of layouts for this site, my guestbook, and DoaSO.
I know what I'm doing for two our of three of them. Does anyone have
a picture of a bug smooshed on a car window or windsheild? Or just a
window? Haha, thought not. Well, I have access to a coolish picture

Anyway, the actual interview should be neat (an interview! All for me!
Muhahahaha!!), but they expect me to bring a 'prop'. So, I can choose
to look like a geek and take a laptop, be fake and bring my cello or
cello music, or do something else. This is a plea: does anyone have
any ideas of a 'prop' that represents me and my two outlets, singing/music
in general and writing? Kinda sucks that I can't take the easy way out
and bring a cat....
I'm in a mood to do nothing. Blech. I don't feel like writing, playing
a game, or really doing anything on the computer. The only reason I'm
still typing this, in fact, is that I have some music by Alanis on to
sing to. o.o

I've had several ideas now that I've had... well... a week to think.
They're all kinda strange, but, hey, originality is cool.
The As Told By Ginger movie 'Foutleys on Ice' (also being called 'Far
From Home' by Nickelodeon... probably because for something to be on
ice means for it to die or something... anyone other me notice that
Nick doesn't seem to like mentioning death?) was awesome. I would
totally recommend it if you like As Told By Ginger, or, er, cartoons
about Jr. High schoolers. *Blinks*
I think it's about time for a new layout. I have had several neat ideas,
none of which I will mention here, but I'd need to take some photos.
I think I want to concentrate on a new layout for DoaSO at the moment.

out after I have finished my room and Hogwarts is back up and stuff.
I'll probably be so happy with my room that I'll spend a few days glued
to the inside of my room. One of the only things to do in my room that
feels meaningful (yet at the same time, not so... sigh...) is working
(or playing... or talking...) on the computer. So, naturally, I'll spend
plenty of time working on this site as well as AH. Lol.
I know I shouldn't even be thinking about a new layout so soon
after this one, but... maybe a back to school layout? Dunno. Maybe I
can work out a schedule to keep layouts for two months each or something.
But then that would only be six layouts a year. *Lip wobbles*

@ 7:01PM - I was in the middle of a Monk obsessions page when my computer
decided it was a great time to shut off. Eh heh. Another reminder that
technology is stupid and I should save more frequently (which I am already
paranoid about, lol). Anyway, I updated my Potter obsession page, if
anyone's interested, but just as a warning, I don't know if it survived.
Lol. Right now, I'm working on a memoir for the MSC
(which isn't in one of my blogs for once, heh). I'm also listening to
the Monk main theme [from season one :P] on loop (I wanna see
it already! This episode sounds great!! But there's still three hours
until it starts!!), but you probably don't care, lol.

@ 10:12PM - I'm supposed to be cleaning my closet, the evidence is behind
me, cluttering my floor. However, I have no place to put the stuff that
we are going to have in the garage sale and have no space for it now.
Sigh. Closet's really nice empty though, I like it much better that
way. Need to put something in to hide my tin of money (lol), but an
empty closet is a very good thing. As long as it's not on your floor.
Sigh.
Parents are being slow about getting paint. Blech. At least it gives
me enough time to pile stuff on my floor, stare at it a few days, and
then decide what to do with it, as that's what I've been doing. I'm
thinking about ditching the dresser althogether and just getting a little
nightstand-sized thing for socks and stuff. If I can clear out enough
junk, my other clothing can live in two of the cubes in my closet shelf.
Let's see, while I'm on the room ramble....
I want to ditch the video holder. Not only is it a piece of plastic
junk, but it takes space that I don't have to open (imagine what's
been trapped in there the past four or five years... o.O...), and I
never watch TV or movies anyway.
As for this feeble excuse for a desk... a card table, for goodness
sakes. It takes up a huge amount of space and wobbles. A lot. Even if
I'm typing and barely moving to touch-type. Need new speakers, these
things I have to kick to make work. Need to put some of my stuffed animals

it with a nice coat of glossy, preferably leftovers of the two shades
of purple I'm using for my room.
Can't wait for new carpet. Do you think they've invented a type of carpetting

each of the alt and shift keys is broken (which really isn't all that
surprising for a seven-year-old keyboard, when you think about it),

I deleted the embarrassingly early version of Trapped in My Mind (I'm
turning it into a novel, a novel...). There's two new affiliates
too!
I've been working on CSS things, and a new layout for all of this site,
the guestbook, and DoaSO... watch out. Next layout is going to look
much better than any past ones, and... whoo... it'll be an elements
layout (unless Ara [who hates orange] would decide to kill me if I made
her the fire element because of her 'spicey' personality, then I'd totally
have to rethink it, lol)! And DoaSO's new layout would be... I'm not
sure, maybe something a bit lighter. And the guestbook layout will be
[I think] a nice beachy one. Aaaaah.
Planning on putting the guestbook layout and a slightly redone version
of the Grey Skies (blog) layout in the layouts section once I finish
it. Probably will do the same with the elements layout when I get tired
of it, lol. It's pretty, I don't waaant to get tired of it, hehehe.

I made two more blinkies; one is
my name, which uses a fading effect which I did 'by hand' (aka without

to draw. The other one is a 'You rock my world!' blinkie which I might

at the moment because the only people who would be on would be freaks

friends and replied to Mrs. Felix. Need to dig out Katie's e-mail so

On the other hand, I'm really going to miss Lauren. I probably won't

ARE!!), it's just I never had any close friendships until this year.
Wow.
So much organizing to do on Hogwarts... probably will update that later,

ideas and some other original fiction ideas. Maybe, someday, there'll
be books in the bookstores titled Abby I Know and Letters

but I may be writing them sometime. Ideas tend to stick with me for
a long time (it helps that since the end of November 2002 I've been
keeping a journal with ideas, too... it's already a quarter of the way
filled. O.O).
Ah, yes, one more thing... I'm definitely taking down the rough draft
of TiMM in June, so watch out if you were planning to read it. As it
is original fiction, I will [hopefully] be publishing the rewrite
through Adriennewolter.com and I can't have the rough draft up while
doing that, it'd make the story look bad. (Yes, the rough draft really
is that bad in comparison to the rewrite! x_x) If you'd like to take

Didn't have to miss choir today because they had us pick field trip

Thursday, must wear black and white for WMS orchestra concert; Friday,
field trip to circus; Saturday, orchestra and band to Hershey Park for

half a day of amusement park rides... what could be better?? ^^

I crave a new layout. Needs better navigation. I hate having all the
stuff divided and having to find it via one of either Me, You, and Site.
Maybe should learn how to do frames from WebTechU and then put a small
inline frame on some side somewhere listing links to every page on the
site. Well, maybe not... that'd be more than 100 links for the pages
with this layout alone... hahaha....
Before I forget, there're two new poems,
'Busy' and 'Just Another Lie'. Neither is very good. I was just bored
and wanting to express m'self.
I'm hoping on doing some Diaryland layouts to be made available in the
layouts section. Can test the layouts on my other diary, which I've
nicknamed Tod, or The Other Diary. Even someone who doesn't know me
too well can guess the username, so I'll probably lock it sometime in
the future. Oh well.
I want to redesign the site, like I said, and when I do the TagBoard
and a 'Minipoll' may be making their appearance on the main page. For
now, though, the minipoll is here. I know
it's stupid, but I'm bored, and you must be bored too if you've
read this far. Think about it.
I fixed the link problem on the book reviews page too, by the way. Apparently,
my computer crashed before I had a chance to save that. Wonder what
else I lost.
I ordered some books from Amazon,
and, although I doubt I'll write book reviews for them (they're girly
:P) I may write something short up for Amazon's reviews and advertise
¡Adriennewolter.com! a bit. :) Already considering putting my
reviews onto Amazon.

I've got the coolest idea for a new short story, maybe even a novel

Also, this weekend I plan to get the book review for Les Misérables
up. Not that that means much, but I hope to. I also finished Holes
(an AWESOME book, I wish I'd've read it a long time ago, hehe), and
can't read The Light Fantastic anymore due to the fact that a
classmate lost my copy of the book. I want to see if I can read The
Unadulterated Cat at the same time as Another Fine Myth &
Myth Conceptions, what I'm reading at the moment. I love reading,

a really neat elf the other day, with curly toes (hehe), but it was

Need to trace it into my sketch diary, but that'll be kind of hard as
the pages are too thick to trace onto. They're meant for watercolors,

Started reading The Color of Magic (in the Discworld series by
Terry Pratchett) on the 20th, am on page 99 and hope to read further
later this weekend. The series is really, really good... I think I'll
be doing my Reading assignment (a book jacket and oral report/review
of the book, attempting to 'sell' it to the audience of classmates)
on it. Dad listened to it on audiotape a while ago, and its sequel -
I'm going to see if I can finish both and then report on both, as it's
the same story. I bet I can - I have more than 5 weeks to finish the
assignment.

@ 12:45PM - Just got the book reviews
section up, hehe. Maybe I'll get a tiny bit of money to help keep up
the site from peeps who buy stuff from Amazon with my suggestions! O.o
So far, it's got 4 books/series reviewed, lists the two books I'm reading
now, and lists a big long list of stuff I want to read. Needless to
say, I've got summat to do when bored now, heh....

Images section. I dunno if I'll add the dolls section, haha... that
would embarrass me, as my dolls are to be laughed at next to Lena's
or Eloria's. Mmm. Might just make that a doll resource section, haha.
I will add a quizzes section at some point... need to actually... er...
