11.06.05
@ 9:00PM - Yeah, I never did upload the update below. >_< I'm
so behind. Ara's kicked me four or five times now reminding me I have
a website I've not updated for four months. (HAPPY?! ^_~)
New link exchange!
In December I will be posting many poems and short stories (probably
moreso poems, because recently I've found some plagarisms of stuff I've
put here in the past and I'd like my stories to be mine and no one else's)
I'll have [theoretically] written by then, spiffed up for Scholastic
and various other writing contests. Wish me luck?
09.18.05
@ 4:44PM - Errr, yeah, for the past two months I've kind of been...
er... nonexistant.
Yeah.
Anyway, I have two poems from this month... even though I've written
poetry before them that I haven't put here. And short stories.
I'll get it all here eventually.
Even if I'm lazy.
So yeah, "Fortunes" and "Of Moths and Butterflies"
are on the poetry index now.

@ 3:33PM - AHHHHHHHH! CUSTOM BLINKIE ORDERING HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR
ALMOST A YEAR! QUIT REQUESTING THEM!
As for the rest of you who can read, yo. How are ya? I'm great,
thanks.
I might be getting a job. This is exciting. Of course, there's always
a 50% chance they've already got someone for the job (minumum wage typist...
go me!), but it's possible they haven't. Even if it's $5.15 an hour.
I mean, money's money. And can be spent on weird clothing. If you know
me at all, you can tell from the oft-mismatched colors and the crazy
scribbled on shoes that dude, she likes weird clothing.
A lot.
I need better (aka, newer) photos of me on here, now that I'm thinking
of it....
Anyway.
Ah, White Houses is such a pretty song. Aww. Maybe you were all faster
than me / We gave each other up so easily / These silly little wounds
will never mend / I feel so far from where I've been....
Speaking of lyrics, I've really been into lyrics lately. Quite a
lot. I'm putting them everywhere. My msn signin (YES, "So go
ahead and kill yourselves, it all amuses me" is a Green Day
lyric you've probably never heard - listen to Desensitized, foo' - it's
not Addy suddenly turned, eh, emo.), my xanga(s), diaryland, and now
here... I swear, I love lyrics. But you know what bothers me? When lyric
sites totally contradict each other. Ahh. How much does it take to make
the lyrics perfect? Or maybe I'm just an anal perfectionist. Yes, that
could be it.
Jumping on to something else, I'm quite looking forward to the start
of school, believe it or not. Well, sort of. I definitely want to finish
AHR before school starts. X_x
Lord, this was supposed to be updates, haha....
07.06.05
@ 11:22AM - Okay, if you want to link
exchange me, you have to send me an e-mail. Honestly, how
hard is it to send an e-mail as opposed to sign a guestbook? I don't
respond to guestbook entries asking for a link exchange (how often do
I check it, once a month? Twice maybe?). So if you really want to exchange
links, take the time to write me an e-mail so I'll actually see it.
(It also shows that you aren't lazy, which is more likely to make me
less lazy putting your link up, y'know. ^_~)
Not much besides that. Well... I was hacked! It was crazy. Some Turkish
security (*snort*) website. I only wish I had an IP address to block....
07.02.05
@ 3:30PM - Back from Susquehanna, which was the coolest writing-related
thing ever. I plan to go back for nonfiction workshops next year, maybe
Ash can come with. :D
Newly revamped survey pages.
New link exchange.
06.23.05
@ 9:02AM - Updates to the joined page (hard
to keep up with cliques and fanlistings that keep moving and disappearing
O_o). Also put which of my stories were
published in Pandora's Box (CHS' yearly literary publication).
06.21.05
@ 7:49PM - New layout, version 12, Sunset! I'm sure I'll get sick of
the orange and pink eventually, but it's spiffy for now. ^^
06.08.05
@ 10:24PM - Oh hey there. Heh heh heh.
School ends tomorrow. I'm both thrilled (it's so nice not having homework!)
and saddened (people are moving! I won't see some people all summer!)
by such.
Six new poems. Check for them at the
bottom of the poetry page.
I GOT INTO SUSQUEHANNA UNIVERSITY'S SUMMER WRITING PROGRAM!! WHOOO HOOO!!!
*DANCE*
Oh, and I also got two pieces of writing (Typewriter and Hourglasses)
and a drawing (broken hourglass for the latter story) [out of the eight
writings and two drawings I submitted] into Pandora's Box, my school's
yearly literature magazine. There are some REALLY good pieces of writing
in there... wow.
I updated Adrienne's Hogwarts... yes, finally... check
it out, mon.
05.06.05
@ 10:08AM - You realize that yesterday was 05/05/05, on the fifth day
of the week, and there was a 5:55AM and PM? That only happens once every
7000 years.
My birthday on the fourth was, I'd daresay, the best birthday I've ever
had. It was just awesome. ^^ Ashton and Mary rock.
04.30.05
@ 9:05PM - My orchestra trip (to Bayside (FL), CocoCay, and Nassau)
was insanely awesome. No words can ever sum up the amazingness of that
trip.
I've been doing a lot of award-winning lately. Two of my stories, the
ones that won gold in regional Scholastic Writing, went on to nationals
and won a silver and a gold - "Typewriter" and "Life
is Short", respectively. According to Ashton, two of my stories
made it into the school literary magazine ("Typewriter" and
"Hourglasses") and both my drawings (one of a broken hourglass,
and one of a rose), though I'm not certain yet. I got invited to a banquet
because I have a GPA of above 3.7, though I'm not sure if I'll go. And
today I just won a first place in forms at a very large karate tournament.
In other, less braggy terms, I totally rock. ^^
New link exchange and updates to the
writings page.
I'll be finding out soon if I won anything for the Apprentice Writer
probably by the next update, and perhaps even whether or not I'm accepted
into a summer writing camp held at Susquehanna University (known for
its writing!), so... er... whooo? I'm really excited, this has been
a great week for me.
04.02.05
@ 3:21PM - *Wonders how long this one-update-a-month thing will continue
O_o*
Nothing big, just two small changes to the text under the navigation
(A, I'm a green belt now [have been for a while], B, I made the link
to Marie work). Also a new link exchange.
^^
In case I don't update before the 13th, if you have an open mind,
PLEASE participate in the Day
of Silence! Together we can break the silence!
And, er, have a fantastic day.
03.25.05
@ 6:03PM - *Blows dust off of website*
Six new poems: "Marbles",
"Linoleum", "Attic Books", "Cardboard City",
"Changes", "Self-Control". If you're slick (or are
just, you know, a friend of mine who keeps up with my various blogs),
you may have seen, well, all of them except Attic Books. In any event,
all can be found on the poetry page.
02.20.05
@ 4:29PM - Mostly an invisible update (to put up the Christmas gift
that I finally finished for Ara), but another update to link
exchanges, and some new writing.
Check out the short story Hourglasses.
02.15.05
@ 6:01PM - Hey there, been kinda busy lately. Another addition to the
link exchanges page, I should probably
clear out the ones that don't work anymore sometime, heh.
If you're here for my writing, I'd like
to let you know that I posted both the previously unpublished short
story "Crushing the Butterfly", and the final version of "Life
Is Short", which had originally only been in DoaSO. I've also labelled
the short stories with awards that they won in the Scholastic Writing
competition. I'll be going to the awards ceremony at the end of this
month. ^^
02.05.05
@ 11:48AM - Well hello there. Brief updates to the link
exchanges page. Yeah, I know, I gotta go back through and weed out
the ones that don't work. O_o I'll get to it someday.
01.21.05
@ 8:26PM - Excellent day, really. My name was in the announcements a
zillion times, apparently I won six awards out of the seven Scholastic
Writing entries I submitted. So basically all of the stuff I submitted
rocks, except my poetry. XD Whoo! I got gold keys for Typewriter
and Life Is Short [check September entries of DoaSO, it's a rather personal
memoir so I'm not linking it directly], silver keys for Warmth
and Crushing the Butterfly [unposted], and certificates of merit for
Million Shades of Grey and Faerie.
Go me! I'll need to update the writings page to reflect this, but not
right now, Monk's going to start very soon.
(And yes, MONK HAS RETURNED! But there's no Sharona... blechy. If you're
a Monk fan, woot!, though.)
01.19.05
@ 4:34PM - New link exchange, to Alex's
html site. (Sorry I took so long to get it updated. o_@)
01.15.05
@ 9:28AM - New layout! Not that you didn't see it already, but hey,
it's there! All green and stuff. You can see ¡AW!'s previous layouts
here. (Oh, and I finally remembered to
put Shauna's and Eloria's gifts up! Three
down, one more to go....)
01.09.05
@ 7:39PM - Happy new year! Just a quick snippet of an update to update
my button rotations.
