Since December 10th, 2004, Journals of DOOM have been a
part of my daily life: since then, I've only missed maybe a week's worth
of days writing in any of the journals since then. They've become a haven
for such randomness as IM conversations (cleverly taped in so they flip
through and only take up a page of the journal per conversation), photos,
idolization, poetry and fiction writing, idea recording, and song lyrics,
among other things. Inspired by my friend Ashton, I often use nicknames
for people and most of the entries are indeciferable, either because of
the extensive nicknaming and vagueness or the messy handwriting.
Traditionally, I use composition books which end up heavily-collaged
by the time I'm a few pages into them: usually with some pictures of my
friends or pets, and the rest of the pictures being random ones I've saved
from years of internet crawling. For this reason, I don't know where I
found many of the photos, regretfully, and I ask you not to copy any pictures
from here. I will credit any rightful owners when I find them.
Twice now I've used smaller journals, simply because people give me a
lot of them between my birthday and Christmas. They are not collaged:
I've found things don't really tend to stick to them particularly well.
As of the creation of this page on January 31st, 2006, there
are six DOOM Journals! I'm hoping to put more journals up here later,
too. ^_^ Enjoy the collages and their explanations. Small images without
numbers on them can be clicked to enlarge.

THE JOURNAL OF DOOM
1) Pet photos! From top left, we have a picture of Futon, Tabitha, and
Galadriel; beside it is Futon-in-a-hat; next to Futon is Tigger, RIP 12/10/00;
to the left of Tigger is Timon, sideways; to the left is Cluckster, a
close-up; left of her is Tabitha as a kitten. Below Tigger is Pumbaa,
below him is Floyd, to the left of the two is Simba-the-blob. In the bottom
left corner is Zeek, above Zeek is Lightning; and to the right of Lightning
are some hens. Whew.
2) A silly picture of myself and a guy I liked at the time. Appropriately
pictured next to a duck sticker here and in the JoD2.
3) EDWARD SCISSORHANDS! I love that movie.

1) Ara/Barbara. I drew the speech bubble with music notes, that wasn't
in the original photo. *Grins*
2) POOKIE! Ara's little sister Rachel. She's got pantyhose on her head.
3) Elooooria.(/Lindsay.) I drew quotes and the word "WOMBAT!"
but you probably can't see that.
4) SHAUNA!!
5) Cera. :D
6) "Bouncy ball is the source of all goodness and light." An
actual fortune cookie thingy to a completed game of mahjung (sp?) Ara
did.
7) A complex picture-in-a-picture. *Snorts* It's Ara (a true Ravenclaw)
wearing a [green and gold?!] Slytherin tie. It says "What's
this? *gasp* is she no longer a Ravenclaw?"
8?) And though it is unmarked, here are some of the pencil things written
in that big blank space at the bottom:
"To Have and to Hold"
"TODAY IS SATURDAY."
":)"
"more room for...?"
"MUAHAHAHAHAHAH[cut off]"
"cellos are so much cooler than violins"
"ZOOM"
"BOOYAH"
"Everclear is awesome, yo."
"I <3 MC"
"[music notes]"
"FEAR the SHARPIE!"

THE JOURNAL OF DOOM 2
-The Doom Continues-

1) A luggage sticker from my beloved orchestra trip/cruise to the Bahamas.
2) "Have you hugged *your* Bethy today?"
"The Beth Cult. It's cool."
3) Everclear. The best band in the history of the universe. Need I include
further explanation? They will make appareances on all further journals
of doom.
4) The character Brian in the Orneryboy
comics I love so very, very much.
5) Chris, featured here with Some Other Chic in Into The Woods,
CHS' 2004-2005 spring musical.
6) Friends of mine in plushie form: from top to bottom, Chris, Charles,
and Ashton.

1) My 2004 Christmas doll. It's supposed to be a Slytherin form of me,
but I forgot to make the eyes brown. It's entirely pixel-shaded and you
can see it on the gifts page in digital
form.
2) Square faces of funkyness. I forget what font this is, but I also have
buttons with these faces.
3?) And again, some margin-writing:
"BATTERIES NOT IMCLUDED"
"Chronicling: the orchestra trip, the NTC choir trip, fantasmic writing
accomplishments, ETC"
"Slytherin"
"MERR"
"Ash + Mary = WOOT"
"EVERCLEAR"
"I am writing upside-down"
"PAYNIS!"
"Smile or Die Productions"
"I AM BAT ADDY!"
"Bethy + Charles = CUTENESS"
"I <3 Sexy Dan the 10th"

THE JOURNAL OF DOOM 4

Back margin writing:
"And I hate that."
"The answer is no."
"I LOVE MY BETHY"
"ARA = AWESOME"

THE JOURNAL OF DOOM 5
-Got Doom?-

1) Cut-out sticker from a bumper sticker from my karate place. *Grins*
It rocks.
2) Yes, this is a picture of a cat, very close and from the side. Lots
of people seem to not know what it is, for whatever reason. It got wet,
so the ink kinda made a green blotch.
3) DDR ARROWS! Yes, this was the journal that came immediately after my
newfound love of DDR version one.
4) Susquehanna University's logo. :D Guess where I wanna go?

1) My 2005-2006 school year homecoming ticket. The theme was candyland.
I was student number 869. I'm nothing but a number to them... (*grin*)
2) The sweetest tattoo ever. Music notes.
