Abnormal Dreams I haven't seen a page like this too often, so I suppose I shall amuse you. These are descriptions of 'abnormal' (for lack of a better word) dreams I've had in the past. .~*~. In April 2004
I had a dream where the orchestra members were helping sponsor the
Hershey Park field trip by bringing along a bunch of friends, and,
uhm, walking there (uh huh, lol). Now, we knew we had to walk through
a stretch of rainforest (don't ask me O.o), but were surprised when
we got to it immediately. It grew up around houses and neighborhoods,
like it was taking over. ~ Ok. This has got to be one of the ones that sticks in my mind the most because it was so vivid and "what the heck?!?"-ish (yes, I make up words as I need them) when I had it. There's a table
on one side of the road. Card table. Around this table are about
eight people, all bordering sleepiness but trying to stay awake.
All of them have a cup of coffee. Some of the people who I can recognize
are me, my parents, Charles, and an elderly neighbor. There's also
a chef with an exaggeratedly huge chef's hat and a cook woman who's
making coffee in a coffee machine that's not plugged in. Cars pass
occasionally, although not too many because it's dark. I am seated
in the seat closest to the forest next to the road, which isn't
very good because I can hear something moving several paces into
the forest. I know this dream is located right where my mailbox
is, for some reason, but I don't know why I can tell because
the mailbox isn't there, my house and driveway aren't there.... ~ In my dreams, I get locked in rooms a lot. Big, white, blank, empty rooms. One of the reasons that I am not only claustrophobic but I also hate the color white. ~ A few years ago, I had one dream repeatedly over a period of time that lasted about three months. This dream was that my Dad died and Quinn never existed, and Mum and I ran a hotel in our house. The road by my house became a city road, and our house became quite a lot taller, with lots of stories and even more rooms. The scary thing about this dream was that all our pets died off one by one. I know that I must've had this dream before Pink Floyd took Tiggy's place (and before Tiggy died), but Simba appeared in the dream, so I can pretty easily pinpoint this dream to somewhere between late July and very early December 2000. ~ There was this really odd dream I had when I was like six, of how I had displeased some witch person who decided the best way to kill me was to kill off my family one by one and poison my food. That one still occasionally pops up now, probably because it's one of the worst nightmares I've ever had, but it also includes my friends getting killed off. Yikes. ~ Speaking of ones I had a while ago, there was this one when I was in second grade where I had made a time machine, meaning to see what was in the future for an English assignment, but the machine broke in the time of the cavemen and I had to pretend to be one until I figured out how to fix the time machine. .~*~. |
