Prefects Who
Gained Power Competition:
Students can enter
a paragraph or more for a book of original prefects and what they did
after graduating Hogwarts. You can enter multiple times, but with different
entries for different individuals.
Requirements:
*The person you report on must be original. (But if you would
like to use someone who gained power in real life, e-mail
me to ask!) Do not use JK Rowling's characters. If I get a report
about Hermione or Percy, I'll delete it. However, if you entered the
Student Journal competition with an original character you are more
than welcome to use your character from then.
*The person you report on must have a creative name.
*The paragraph(s) about the prefect you report on must be spell-checked
and with correct grammar.
*Your paragraph(s) must tell the reader:
The prefect's name, their house, what they accomplished
during Hogwarts (if anything of particular interest), and the things
they did after graduating. Be creative! Do the Muggles
know of this person? What field did they go into after Hogwarts?
What time did they come from?
Reward (if used):
*Awe and admiration of the student body (heh heh... see below)
*And if you WIN, you get a free link to you until the next competition
ends! How cool! (your site MUST be rated a mature PG however)
NOTE: As this competition will be ending after
the end of AH, you can only enter for House Points before the year ends...
check the schedule for specifics. I would
hope you would still enter with the incentive of winning the competition,
even if that privelage is not accompanied by Galleons and House Points.
Oh, and practice
some grammar, capitalization, the like, please. I correct too many of
these. :S
The e-mail must
contain:
*Your screen name, password, URL, and house. (Or, alternatively, if
you were never an AHer, the name you want to be known as, your house,
and your URL. Only send the URL if you'd want
it displayed if you win, and if it is PG.)
*The name of the prefect, and the entry's paragraph(s).
*Any notes you may have to add that are not a part of the report. These
may or may not be displayed in the report, depending on what they are.
Footnotes, whatever.
Thanks for reading
the rules. You may now send me an e-mail
with your report.
This competition
ends on Sunday, November 31st, 2004! Hurry up and enter!
